Now That Was One Crazy Week!

This week has been very hectic week in the J and R Scott household! Jamie picked up a second job taking pictures of new born's at the hospital 12 hours a week. Randy re-joined the new "Mike, April and Randy Show" weekday mornings on Froggy 99.9! That means early wake-up calls for both of us! Randy had some late nights this week as well, with activities every night of the week. Monday it was flag football (2 Wins by the way!), Tuesday and Wednesday he made appearances on our local Fox 21 news at 10pm wrapping up American Idol as an "expert". Oh yeah and the Shorebirds season started Thursday!! The 'Birds are 1-2 after a rain out today. Randy is not traveling with the team this season but is doing all the home games.

We wanted to give Jamie a taste of home so we traveled 40 miles to Sonic in Virgina. It was a long ride to eat a meal in your car, and it wasn't the healthest meal, but was well worth it!

As far as the Idol "expert" goes, a rotation at Randy's work is set up to appear for a minute after Idol on two newscasts a week. He was the first to guess who would be voted off! Can you say bragging rights? Dolly Parton was the guest of the week and you know some boob jokes were inevitable! Jamie had the camera video taping at just the right times!!

Day 2:

We also recently attended one of Randy's co-workers weddings. Congrats to Beckie(Roxi) and Phil! We forgot to take our picture with the bride and groom, whoops! The wedding was only 10 minutes! Fastest one we ever did see!
Here we are outside of the Fountains in Salisbury:
Here is Randy with Billiam and Mike:

One thing that has been tough to handle this week is Randy's
brother Chris' deployment back to Iraq. He is scheduled to leave
his Wife and two young boys for at least a year in just a couple of
days. Please pray for Chris, Mindy, Luke and Will as much as you
can. Please remember the hundreds of thousands of troops in the
same situation. This is a tough time for a lot of families and we
hope and pray for all of them.

Got to love Sonic! Almost weekly I would drive 45 minutes to Schlotzsky's when I was pregnant in California. We enjoy keeping up to speed with what's new with you guys. P.S. We are cheering for Brooke White.

Isn't that Sonic in Eastern Shore VA? That's pretty pathetic. We need to transplant the restaurants we like from the midwest to Delmarva. I did hear you're getting a Famous Dave's...Mindy likes the sound of that.

Hey Jamie, what were you laughing at in the second video? I couldn't hear it very well.

Chris,

He said Dolly Parton "still has mounds of talent".
