One Hot Country Night!

We went to Harrington, DE for the Delaware State Fair! It was our first trip to the fair and we had a blast. Randy's station (Froggy 99.9) hosted two great artists! Mike, April and Randy welcomed Rodney Atkins and Brooks and Dunn on the stage. It was a great night and we even got to meet both Rodney and Kix and Ronnie!

Rodney was really nice and posed for a couple of pics with us and visited for a while. He has a song called "Watching you" about he and his son. His son came out on stage after he was done, it was a really cool moment.

Our meeting with Brooks and Dunn was very brief but cool, they went through the long line quickly but it was nice to meet them.

We had a fun night and we got to show off the stations giant Frog!

We had an interesting shuttle ride back to our car, the lady on the car told us that they switched the signs and our car was no longer where we remembered it was. We eventually found it and rolled out!

Be Our Guests!!

We welcomed the Ellis' (Jamie's Parents and sister Dawn)a few weeks back for the 4th of July! We had such a wonderful time with them and wish we could see them more! We went to Baltimore on the Wednesday to meet them for some supper and the Orioles vs the Royals at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. We stayed at the Tremont and they stayed at the Marriott overlooking the Lovely Chesapeake Bay. We took in a game, had some cheesecake and went to Body World(We had to do something educational!). We then traveled to back to our home for a good old fashioned cookout! Randy grilled some tasty Brats, Burgers and Pork! We enjoyed the food, family and fellowship!

Randy had to work on July 4th in the morning and at the Stadium later but it was a lot of fun! There was no game but a fireworks show that was delayed for a little while due to some intense storms! We also had a great picnic at our neighbors Ron and Joyce's house with them, Steve and Judy and Uncle Joe and Aunt Marge. It was delicious!! We also got to see the Willey's Horses and Kittens and Mr. Ron took us for a boat ride on the Wicomico River.

We went to the beach on Saturday and had a lot of fun there. We ate lunch at Harrison's Harbor watch and walked the boardwalk. It was a little cloudy and rainy but we were happy to be together and see all the sights.

On Sunday we went to church and then over to Randy's parents for a Chicken and Dumplings lunch Yummy! We watched our wedding video on Sunday night and had a good laugh! It was fun to share all of those memories!

Our last day together was Monday, we relaxed, went to lunch and then shopping. Randy had a game Monday night so everyone went to watch the Shorebirds! The 'Birds won 2-1 in 11 innings! Our Guests had an early flight on Tuesday Morning so it was a sleepy ride(starting at 2AM) to BWI but we made it there and back in one piece!

We had a wonderful time and cherish the memory of their trip! We do have to give a big thank you to Steve for meeting the deadline and getting the bathroom done in time!

Dinner at the Beach with Friends!

It was fun visiting with Brendan and Mary a few weeks back at Macky's. They were spending a few days in OC during the South Atlantic League All Star break. He broadcasts for the Lakewood BlueClaws. We finished just in time before the rains came! It was a delicious and we enjoyed dining outside with a great view of the bay!

We stayed caught in the rain for a while and made it to Dumpser's for dessert.

Summer Daze!

We are certainly in need of an update! It has been a crazy few weeks. We went camping at
Assateague Island!

A few weekends ago we went to Assateague Island and camped on the beach with our friends Brian and Amanda. We had been planning this trip for weeks. We had a great time and love the sites and sounds. Well some of the sites were a little strange. If you aren't familiar with Assateague you wouldn't know that wild horses roam the beach and campsites at will. This is usually very cool except the fact that the ranger doesn't follow them and pick up the messes! We did fight the bugs and the wind! We were happy that Amanda and Brian are camping pros and set up everything and we were only responsible for breakfast. We went out for breakfast. We discovered the Fractured Prune, a delicious donut shop outside of the Island. The one thing we all forgot was silverware, which made the breakfast decision and easy one. We enjoyed great steaks the night before and loved eating them with our bare hands, now that is roughing it!
