Mark 10:14-16
He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 15 I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the knigdom of God like a little child will never enter it. 16 And he took the children in his arms put his hands on them and blessed them.

My Surprise Party
While I was away dog sitting in San Diego, Randy planned a surprise Birthday Party for me ! I was completely surprised because- I was really looking forward to Julianne's dedication(family was in town, etc..) the next day, so my Birthday was no big deal to me! Well Randy did a great job planning with the help of his family. The day went as follows
-I made a nice big breakfast for my family (Dad&Mom Ellis, Grandpa/ma Stansbury) Egg/sausage Cass, muffins, dunkin donuts, coffee. It was a delicious breakfast!
-Then we headed out to Ocean City, MD to see the sites and walk the Boardwalk. It was really cold and Julianne was not a happy camper, so we didn't get to spend much time there. Most of the stores and restaurants were closed due to the winter season. But we did get Dolle's popcorn and Candy Kitchen Taffy. Next time they come will have to be in the summer so we can get Rita's, Thrasher's, and crab cakes on the Boardwalk.
-We freshened up and then headed to Tokyo Steakhouse for my Birthday dinner. The atmosphere is fun and the food is very good. My mom and I were the only ones at our table to catch the shrimp in our mouths, we always look forward to catch the shrimp in our mouths :)
-Then we ran a quick errand; we had to exchange Julianne's shoes so I was taking my time and they were all telling me we need to hurry ! Well I thought they were hurrying because Julianne needed to get to bed or might be fussy. But I was like no she's fine they will call me if they need me. So four stores later (we were looking for white Patton shoes) we quickly got in the car and headed to the Scott's.
-I got to the door and peaked through the window and saw all these people , my family and friends waiting to Celebrate my Birthday with me!! It was a long day but I felt so loved and blessed to spend it with my family and friends!! Thank you Randy and the Scott's for a great day of celebration!!
A recap of Christmas
We had a wonderful 2009 Christmas ! Our Christmas Eve was spent at Aunt Marge's house, where we exchanged gifts and ate some delicious food. I brought the deviled eggs! Then we went to the Christmas Eve Candle light service at church, its always a special service. But this year I spent most of the service in the nursery with Julianne. After the service we went to Uncle Dave and Aunt Debbie's house were we exchange gifts and ate more delicious food!!
We had a great Christmas and really enjoyed spending it as a family of three. Julianne enjoyed tearing the paper and putting everything in her mouth, so we didn't go overboard with presents, we just got her empty boxes. ;) But after we opened our presents to each other we went to the Scott's house to eat a big breakfast and then opened the presents with them! And lastly we ate some more. Somehow I managed to maintain my weight(due to nursing:) but will be eating healthier this coming year as I increase in age and not weight! Beware lots of pictures to follow

San Diego Part II
The weather has been really nice, so I've tried to plan activities outside for us to do (we are in San Diego, right). We went to Ocean Beach and walked the Pier, looked at a few shops, and had the best smoothie at OB Smoothie. Unfortunately I forgot the camera, so no pictures of that. We plan to go back there sometime soon.
This is a great little park in Ang's hood, we frequent this a lot during our walks
The other side of the park, notice the people walking the tight rope
We went to the World Famous San Diego Zoo. It was such a nice zoo, this is by far the best Zoo I have ever been too!
The Giraffe's , Julianne just watched in amazement
This poor dog to the right is the Cheetah's companion, they said it was raised with the dog.
We rode the Gondola through the Park!
She took two naps while at the Zoo
Elephants I like Elephants
A snake Turtle, they are weird looking reptiles
Duck watching, while sucking her thumb!!
We went to another Incredible Park called the Balboa Park. We had a nice picnic there and so did Willie, he ate half our food!
Julianne bossing the dogs around
They love to wrestle
Look what I caught Willie doing, up on the couch, were he's not suppose to be!!!
But don't you love the cool windows

Adventures in Dogsitting
Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
Sorry , we haven't updated this blog in awhile! I hope everyone has a fabulous new year, we sure are enjoying Twenty Ten in San Diego!!
We went to First Church of the Nazarene on the Campus of Point Loma. It was a Warm and friendly church, wasn't as big as I expected it to be. They don't really use the main sanctuary due to different music (contemp/traditional), I was planning on going to the classic service, but it was very crowded so I kinda listened in the lobby area and then went to the contemporary service. I enjoyed the music there. I left before the service ended so I could go tour the campus. I wished I would have toured this campus 10 yrs ago!!
Josh Angela's House. It's so cute!

A barricade of Pillows to keep Willie away
Annie is a good dog, with a mean bark!!
