Randy's Goodbye Trip to "The House that Ruth Built"

It was a bittersweet Saturday afternoon for Randy and his friend Mark as they traveled to the Bronx to bid farewell to "The Stadium", a sports cathedral that has hosted some of the greatest moments in sports history, famous heartwrenching speech's, concerts and religous functions. Most importantly it was home to Randy's beloved New York Yankees since 1923! Randy has been to Yankee Stadium 3 times now and has savored every second while inside! This time he and Mark sat in the famous bleachers among the creatures in deep centerfield behind Monument Park and really close to Randy's favorite Yankee Don Mattingly's plaque. We had a great time and took tons of pictures but had a hard time saying goodbye to such a historic venue! We had a chance to see the under contruction new "Yankee Stadium" right next door to the old one. We also drove through Manhattan and Harlem (by accident) to soak it all in! It will always be looked upon as a positive memory but was tough! We look forward to many new memories at the new Stadium and hope it has as much lore and luster as the original.

Kiss it goodbye! Go Yankees!!!
