Gotta Love the FAM!!

Jamie's Mom and youngest sister Dawn arrived the day we headed home from the hospital to help out and visit when Julianne was born. It was a very special and emotional moment for Jamie when she was introduced to their new granddaughter and niece Julianne!!

All of our family and friends have been unbelievable in helping and supporting us and we can't thank them enough.

Here we are Easter Sunday (We miss you Chris!!)

Here is our little Angel!!

Julianne is a month old!!

Julianne just turned a month old on Monday the 13th. We can't believe how fast the time as gone and are amazed at her accomplishments and growth. She is more alert , she makes eye contact at short distances, scans the room and takes in all the sights and sounds, she moves a lot by flailing her arms around and kicks her little legs. Julianne makes the cutest faces when she's awake and asleep. I can spend the morning watching her sleep and watching the different facial expressions that she makes. So far she sleeps pretty well, she wakes about 2-3 times at night for a feeding, but its always about the same time and then she usually falls back to sleep. Her weight has been good, at birth she was 8lbs 8oz and then dropped to 7lbs 12oz at the hospital (we stayed 4 nights) then gradually 8 lbs 4oz, then at two weeks she weighed in at 9 lbs. I was a little worried about her weight from the start, because at the hospital they told me she was dehydrated and lost 8% of her weight, so it was pretty overwhelming to a first time mom, but we have overcome it and now at one month she weighs 9lbs 10.4oz ! She is a healthy Baby Girl !

Luke had been practicing how to say Julianne since late Friday night-and it payed off in a priceless moment!
